From next Monday, 12th November, until Monday 19th, we regret that there will be some disruption to our readers due to work being carried out on the CCTV system throughout the Old Library building.
Monday 12th – Wednesday 14th November Manuscript readers will be sharing the EPB reading room so places will be in heavier demand than usual and we may not be able to accommodate everybody. However, our opening hours will remain the same as usual for EPB material: Monday 10am-5pm; Tuesday and Wednesday 10am-8pm. As manuscript material will not be available after 4pm, there should be no shortage of space in the evenings.
Thursday 15th – Monday 19th November EPB will be closed. A small number of our readers can be accommodated in the Manuscripts and Archives reading room (accessed with your TCD card through the Long Room), but please note that there are fewer reader places there than in EPB. The opening hours will be 10am-4:45pm Thursday, Friday and Monday and 10am-1pm on Saturday. Our open shelf reference collection will not be available unless you ask staff in advance of the closure, and there is a small possibility that some Stack material will be inaccessible . We strongly recommend that you order material in advance if you intend to come in during this time.
