Not yet disembarked. We seem to be forgotten; nobody brings us any orders or seems to have any care or knowledge of our existence. The Hospital Ship “Madras” anchored alongside us this morning; at night she presented a pretty and striking picture, with her illuminates red cross and her border of brilliant red lights, looking as though she was a ship on fire. We all wonder when we will disembark. It certainly does seem a lack of economy in money and material to allow a great vessel to lie idle in port and to have troops waiting at the base when heavy fighting
