[7th September [?1917]] it. It wanders about just like a river & isn’t the least bit like the modern canals which go for hundreds of miles without a bend.
I dont like the situation of our new camp nearly so well as the old as it takes us another ¾ of a mile into the desert which means a big walk to go down to the flood which is the only place of interest hereabouts.
The weather out here is lovely now quite cool & even a few clouds generally we have the most wonderful sunsets not pink like our own
