Dear Mother
We have had a very peaceful time for the last few days except for the dust & flies which are very bad. We are expecting to move off again soon but where go noone knows.
I had a great look round Sheria a couple of days after the battle before everything had been cleaned up. The Turks had left practically everything but it was on the whole very poor stuff.
The best thing they left was machinery for baking for pumping washing & disinfecting.
There was a magnificent mobile bakery quite new from Germany which
