Dear Mary
we are having a splendid war here and I have had more fun lately than anytime since I was home last.
We go down every evening and talk french to Madame the mayors daughter and more especially to Mademoiselle his governess who is nineteen and very nice the entertainment also includes vin chaud suclé if possible nicer still at the mayors expense.
Today Hayes and I went out to a Chasse de Sanglier but saw none though we had a delicious day in the forest.
