Last Thursday a concert was arranged by the Y.M.C.A. for the troops in Makina Camp and took place in the evening. It was most enjoyable; a real success. Songs, recitations, card tricks, lightening sketches made a fine exhibition of local talent. Worster of the 45th Sikhs brought the house down. A policy of general clearance of those in high commands now exists in the Mesopotamian force. General Aylmer, whose last attack is said to have been a half-hearted failure, has returned to India.
