My dearie, Thank you for your little note indeed it was the only bright part of a terrible day. And Im very glad you got out in the Overland and I hope youll tell me about it & how it went with you. Well today as I say has been a terrible day dont think that we have been wiped out or anything. As follows: I went down to the work today after two days absence as you Know. Took my lunch & just when coming up saw a stick moving in my pit Thought the Corporal was down moving timber. I went up to it and almost immediately the whole wall sat down
