A green grove of date-palms seemed to attract them for the dense cloud turned its course to congregate and hover over the stately trees. But the palms must have appeared an unsuitable resting place for the vast swarm, after hanging for a little while over the branches, performed a great wheel in the air and, massing itself into a new formation with all the regularity and precision of an army, returned on its original course.
