In addition to bony-fish, I also found shell-fish in the stomachs of these frogs, so that the creatures had not only effected a complete change in the nature of their diet to meet the scarcity of their accustomed food; but it might be surmised that they had, in addition, assumed a valuable scheme of colouration to aid them in the capture of their prey.
