Further observations on construction of snare. I found a large and handsome species* of the geometrical spider with its snare constructed on a date palm, and was able to add to my previous observations on snare architecture. This spider also occurs in the Hazara valley so these remarks may supplement my previous records.
(a). When paying out a filament to the breeze in order that the silk may find an attachment for the commencement of the snare, the spider first emits a sheaf of extremely light /
