than an ordinary slipper and yet easy and soft. Something like a pair of Snow boots. Something that I can slip on my tired feet when I come in and that yet are substantial enough to stand a little mud on the floor of a dug out.
A very nice set of parcels came for Baker today full of very good things We enjoyed his cake very much. Maybe some will come for me tomorrow but I hope anyway for a letter
