Most comfortable ship! Good breakfast. Everything is [?]trim exactly as on the Union Castle ordinary sailings in peacetime. .
Making about 12 knots with very slight vibration.
In bed all day, temperature still evident. Officers ward in dining saloon immediately below promenade deck forward – my cot the forward most one of the entire line. Some of the cases malaria but not many. Some wounded but most general wrecks.
