Bright morning followed by cold and cheerless day.
Dempster went to hospital with varicose veins to see what they can do.
Bloore on outpost. Myself on roadmaking through camp. More eggs in. At last we seem to have hit on a working plan.
Rumour of married officers going home to train ?Derby men- invented and circulated by ?Ego! Rumour that Turkish trouble acute in Egypt and that we are to be withdrawn as soon as Serbian army reconstructed.
No mail – why I cannot imagine as we are told that transports are arriving daily.
