find on getting up that everybody had been more or less out or standing-by during the night & by the chance of the duty-roster I had been left in complete peace. I expect to have a good many runs tonight. It is raining like mad which is good as the roads will not be greasy. I liked your letter very much. No, Im not ill very well in fact & my rheumatism is gone I expect it will come back soon.
