My dearie
Your dear letter OK today and another shortly after. It is awfully good of you to be getting all the people to send me things for the Bty. And be sure they will be very greatly appreciated in this cold weather. How unfortunate for Joe & Vera having all that trouble with their goods. As youve probably seen in the Newspapers the nibbling public Has been going on successfully on this front I think the Germans are still very strong tho! I told LS that you missed the pictures, so on the spot he produced this which I think is good. You will notice the wireless report which comes in faithfully every day. I always rather enjoy it, this isnt a very good specimen as much is taken up by the Kings Speech to Parliament.
I am having to be off now to my sleeping quarters with the guns. Today has been fairly busy with transferring all the lines one place to another. Always a lot of things come up unexpectedly. This isnt a letter my dearie. Anyway Im awfully glad from your letters you have been able to enjoy some bright sunshine I think it is gradually getting less cold here
very lovingly
Pat
