Dearest, No letter today for anybody Maybe there will be two tomorrow. A notice came round the other day asking for names of Railway Construction engineers only the names of those that could be spared to be sent in – LS was good enough to tell me that he didnt consider I could well be spared but that if I was at all keen he wouldnt stand in the way. So it was a bit of a temptation but I think I did rightly in saying Id not bother about it. Anyway if it had come off it wold have made no difference as far as getting back
