Very hot indeed. Quite as hot as last June at flat-topped hill.
Detailed last night for a trench mortar course at LEMBET Salonika starting 4th Sept. No word of how long it will last – but begat it is within two miles of Salonika – and if I don’t smell that city again after six months it will be bad luck.
Walked with King towards ARDZAK LAIGE but could not approach it on account of marshes.
