[25th February [?1918]] This was the Senussi arsenal at one time I believe and there is a small jetty outside where the German Submarines used to land arms and get petrol in return from the natives.
I was poking about among the tins and found quite a lot of copper dishes and things the only loot I have got out of the war yet.
We have got a refugee camp here where there are quite a lot of niggers being fed at the government expense. The men even carry their long rifles yet and they all look better fed than they ever were before.
Best love
