Intended to accompany one half the battalion to Camp Safah early this morning. Another attack of distressing colic prevented me. I am inclined to think that the appendix is at the bottom of the trouble. Lethbridge, however, is not so sure of it. If I have another attack I must go to hospital and have the annoyance attended to before we commence more active operations.
