I was contemplating a visit this morning to the palm groves to search for a strange species of spider that I had seen yesterday, when a British orderly and a Gurkha Officer came running breatless into the camp with the news that a bomb had ex-ploded in the midst of a bombing party of the 6th Gurkhas who were being instructed in the use of the missile. They said some dozen casualties had resulted.
