& I went for a walk to try & find his brother which we didnt do but met a very pleasant Major who was his Best Man. And then we went further and found that his brother was in the district but not (as we decided) a place to which to walk for pleasure on a bright Sunday. And so home to our nice tea. I talked about children to LS he seems to have had a wonderful success in the matter of their adopted child who was a miserable ugly little thing whom no one would look after in its home and now since it has been with Mrs LS it has got
