My new O.C. is a Scotchman from Glasgow a funny old boy so Scotch that it takes me all my time to understand what he is saying. He is an excellent engineer and has been teaching me all sorts of pretty mathematics as applied to engineering he rejoices greatly in this.
I see you are going to have Home Rule and conscription I only hope there won’t be any trouble in enforcing either.
Ill write again when I reach my destination and hope I’ll be able to tell you that I’ll get leave soon perhaps when the strawberries are ripe
