camp back a few miles from here He is capt. in the RAMC at a casualty clearing where they seem to be doing splendid work I was most interested going all over the camp seeing the different stages of a wounded man and the dispatch with which they are treated and “cleared” is grand. I saw two operations in progress both in a tent a nurse & all in attendance. He told me that these two cases would probably be on the train for home before out of the anaesthetic
