lin doesnt move me any for it will mean good reading from their pens & I expect they will not be unkindly treated. I had rather be a prisoner in English hands than in any other European hands.
Do you know what we did this afternoon. We had an ‘association football match. LS & Bonchier & Willey played very well then we had races and jumping. I raced against Willey carrying LS and giving 50 yds in 100 & got beaten as generally happens in that race. Then they had boxing contests in which I didnt take part either – In fact I spent the most of the afternoon reading the Parliamentary debate!
Goodbye now dearie
Yours very lovingly
Pat
