My dearest Marie
I got your awfully nice letter yesterday I began to answer it yesterday evening but there were so many people sitting round & talking that I gave it up & wrote to Kit instead. I must say 6 days seems a monstrous long time for a letter to get from here to Paris Yours was written on the 17th (It might possibly be read as 19th but I think it is the 17th) & arrived yesterday 21st. So thats four days. The leather jacket is a great success
