I would be very sorry if George disposed of the Overland for a few days anyhow. Still if he wants to & has an immediate chance then we cannot dissuade him. Im very sorry you didn’t get your driving lesson in it. About my belongings in Canada. I wrote to the landlord of my digs in Montreal about 3 months ago but since have heard nothing from him I dont quite know the best thing to do about them. They are mostly a lot of old winter things etc which would be little use at home, on the other hand they will not improve by being left there it would be very awkward if the occupant had gone without advising me as he might easily have done not knowing my address. To tell the truth when I left the things there I didnt really think there was any prospect of ever wanting them again as I didnt think coming back alive from the war was in the region of likelihood. Just then it was not being done much. Id better write again & ask him to ship the whole outfit to Killiney or better still
