Dear Mother
We have arrived at last after a long and rather tedious journey. I am in billets in a spotless room belonging to Mademoiselle Jeanne I don’t know what other name she has anyway she is a nice old maid who speaks very slowly so that I can understand.
Send me Adrians address as soon as you can as I might be able to see him if I got it soon.
I will write again soon
