Fit as Fiddles and as Hard as Nails

[1918] I am going to meet an Advisory Committee on Monday with a view to ascertaining any news of jobs etc. they are sending round representatives of the various professions. I do not hope for actual result except perhaps a hint as to prospects and state of market. I am glad Berlin Govt is doing away with the Bolsheviks. National questions are fading into the background
