Dear Mother
I am now back at company H.Q. again having got my detachment job finished.
It is a very luxurious place with a mess tent comfortable chairs a table and two bowls of siklemons [cyclamens] and fennel on the table by way of adornment.
Certainly they look very nice and they aren’t big enough to stick into the food.
Roby home at last must have been splendid I hope he got a good long leave. I wonder when I shall get back again within the next six or seven months I hope but I expect I’m too optimistic.
I don’t know what work I will get now but I am going to try for three days leave in Jerusalem as it might be my last chance of seeing it.
