Workspace Devices
The below links will help get you up and running with workspace equipment.
In your workspace, you will probably need a computer, a phone and access to a printer.
Some of the below services incur a cost to the requesting area, so please make sure that any requests have been authorised by your Head of Area first.
Computers
Transfer ownership
You might inherit a computer from another member of your department. If so, you will need to have the ownership and control of that computer transferred to you.
The request for the change of ownership should come from your Head of Area or School/Office Administrator and be emailed to the IT Service Desk at itservicedesk@tcd.ie.
Purchasing a new computer
New computers should only be purchased from official Trinity computer suppliers.
Information about our preferred suppliers is on our IT Purchasing Advice for Staff page.
