IT Service Desk Webchat
Have you tried contacting the IT Service Desk via our recently launched Webchat service?
The Webchat service was launched in April 2020 as an additional way for Trinity students and staff to contact our IT Service Desk for assistance with an IT query.
How do I use this service?
To use the Webchat service, go to tcd.ie/itservices/help/chat/, fill out the form with your name, Trinity email address, staff/student number and then click on the 'Contact IT Service Desk Webchat' button. Once you submit the form, your Webchat will be opened in a new window. If you are not connected to the College network (either on campus or via VPN), you will be prompted to input your College Username and Network Login Password before getting access to view the above content.
Who will answer my query?
Once you have submitted the form, an agent from the IT Service Desk team will join the chat to help with your query real-time.
Please note that our IT Service Desk can also be contacted via email (firstname.lastname@example.org), phone (01 896 2000), or online (ask.tcd.ie).
