Trinity Device Encryption Service

Trinity Device Encryption Service

This service will provide encryption for all laptops and desktops (Windows and Mac) configured for use on the Trinity data network. This will help users secure Trinity work-related data which is confidential or highly sensitive.

Windows devices will be encrypted using BitLocker and macOS devices will be encrypted using FileVault.

Encryption of both will be centrally managed by IT Services.

Who can use this service?

Staff and Postgraduates

Getting started

As part of the Unified Communications project, all existing staff laptops and desktops will be encrypted.

After the initial rollout is completed, any new staff devices connecting to the network will be encrypted automatically.

If you require encryption on your device before this service is deployed to your area, please complete the encryption request form.
