We are installing a new security certificate on our Wi-Fi networks
This work has now been completed successfully.
IT Services will be installing a new security certificate on our Wi-Fi networks between 08:00am – 10:00am on Thursday, 3rd February 2022.
How will this impact me?
From 08:00am – 10:00am, there will be short interruptions to the Wi-Fi services across College and there will be a small risk of disruption to the staff VPN service. The disruption to the VPN service will only affect staff starting a new VPN connection during that time period.
What will happen after the new certificate is installed?
If you have a computer or phone that is connected to any Trinity Wi-Fi network, or if you are using the eduroam service, then you may receive a prompt asking you to Accept, Trust, or Continue. If you receive such a message, it is safe to accept the prompt in order to complete the connection to the Wi-Fi network.
If you have difficulty connecting after this point, try:
- Disconnecting and reconnecting to the chosen Wi-Fi network
- ‘Forget’ the Wi-Fi network and set it up again

Updates will be posted here.
