Collaborate Ultra and Firefox connectivity issue

Blackboard have advised that this issue due to a bug in Firefox 87. This bug is affecting Collaborate when connecting behind a network firewall such as on campus or on a corporate network. Some home users may be affected but in most cases Collaborate should work on a home connection with Firefox 87.
If you do encounter the issue, please use another browser until the bug is resolved in an upcoming Firefox release; the exact date on the release is not confirmed and we will update this alert when known.

Blackboard have reported that some users connecting to Collaborate Ultra sessions with Firefox version 87 are unable to connect to the session. Users will see the error: "Uh-oh. You can't connect. Try to rejoin."
Other versions of Firefox and other browsers are not affected by this issue.
