IT Services Alerts - Issue affecting students attempting to access the 'TCDwifi' wireless network

Some steps have been taken with the assistance of the suppliers and the issue is close to being resolved.

We are aware that some students are still experiencing issues connecting their devices for the TCDconnect student Wi-Fi service. There may be short periods of 5-10 minutes where the system runs slowly due to high demand. If you are affected, we encourage you to try again later.
Please note that measures have been taken to reduce the frequency at which this issue occurs, and work is on-going with our third-party suppliers to put a long-term solution in place.

Please note that work has taken place throughout the week to reduce the probability of such interruptions reoccurring. The service is being actively monitored.

We are aware of an issue affecting students attempting to access the 'TCDwifi' wireless network. The issue is affecting both new connections and re-authenticating users and last 5-10 minutes.
We are currently investigating the issue and will post an update here as soon as possible.
