IT Services Alerts - Updated: TCDconnect Registration issue, September 10th

Students are currently able to register for Trinity WiFi Services via TCDconnect with Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and IOS Devices. The service is currently operational but is experiencing short interruptions of 2-3 minutes - please keep trying and you will be able to complete the scan and access Trinity WiFi. We have been, and will continue to, actively monitor the service and can report that today has been one of the busiest days on record for registering new devices.

The issue has now been resolved. We can confirm that Windows and macOS devices are registering successfully.

Students are currently able to register for Trinity WiFi Services via TCDconnect with Android and IOS Devices. The service is currently not allowing students to register their Windows and MacOS laptops. We continue to actively troubleshoot this issue with our external support partner for TCDconnect and updates will follow as soon as they are available.

Students using Mac & Windows devices may encounter an error when trying to run the Scan agent for student WiFi services (TCDconnect). We are currently investigating this issue and will update this alert when more details become available.
