In the intervening years, Alex worked as a civil servant and diplomat specialising in international criminal justice cooperation, with a particular focus on South America and the Balkans, as well as consulting for the UN and supporting reconciliation initiatives in the Middle East and West Africa. Alex has also trained as a mediator within the School’s CDRS programme.
