We're in this Together
HR Learning and Organisation Development are pleased to launch the Trinity Virtual Café, ‘We're in this Together’ Series. This virtual café is designed to offer you opportunities to connect, inspire each other, and share our knowledge, so that together we can learn, grow and develop the skills we need to navigate this challenging time.
Over the coming weeks, there will be opportunities to explore various topics as part of the‘We're in this Together’series. The theme for our first week is Well-Being and we are delighted that Dr. Na Fu from Trinity Business School has offered to facilitate the first virtual Trinity Café, a knowledge sharing platform, where we will explore ‘How we look after Ourselves’, and that Brian Pennie, PhD Student and Lecturer in Neuroscience, will give a talk focused on our ability to adapt to challenging environments.
There are many initiatives across College to support our wellbeing, such as daily workouts by Trinity Sport, mindfulness and much more. Please keep connected through the following pages: Human Resources, Trinity Sport and College Health.
18th June 2020 11:00 - 12:00 online |
We're in this Together: Trinity Virtual Café - Decision making that works for your life In this Virtual Café, PhD Candidate Brian Pennie will focus on a multi-disciplinary approach to problem-solving and decision making. He will highlight a variety of thinking tools, used by many of the world's best thinkers (e.g. Bill Gates, Elon Musk), that will help you to simplify complexity, better understand problems, and help you to see the world more clearly. He will also discuss a metaphor for making decisions that has completely transformed his own life. Having introduced this idea through my corporate talks, it is now used by several of Ireland's leading companies. Who should attend: Trinity Staff |
