Postgraduate Teaching Awards 2018

Congratulations to all the winners of the Postgraduate Teaching Awards for 2018.

These awards recognise the substantial contribution that Trinity’s postgraduate students make to undergraduate teaching & learning through their roles as teaching assistants and demonstrators. The scheme is run as a collaboration between the Graduate Studies Office and CAPSL and has the support of the Graduate Students Union.

This year, there were four winners who each demonstrated outstanding capabilities in their fields. Maedhbh Nic Lochlainn from the School of Natural Sciences, Shelley Stafford, from the School of Chemistry, Declan Cahill from the School of Business and Samantha Fazekas from the School of Social Sciences and Philosophy. The two runners up who received certificates of commendation were Julia O'Connell from the School of English and Benjamin Lynch from the School of Business.

The ceremony was held in the Global Room on the 13th June. The Dean of Research, Professor Linda Doyle gave the presentation. The winners each received a cash prize and a commemorative plaque.
