Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Systems)
This Assistant Professor in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (Systems) will be appointed to contribute to teaching, research and administrative activities in the Discipline of Electronic and Electrical Engineering within the School of Engineering. The post holder will complement the existing staff in the wider Departmental and School areas of Circuits and Systems (including Robotics), Digital Media Signal Processing, Bioengineering, Power Management and Control. Increasingly the research groups in the Department and the School are interdisciplinary. In this recruitment call we are interested in growing our teams in either of two areas : Circuits and Systems or ML/AI in Engineering (including e.g. application areas in Audio/Video Processing or Robotics). We also encourage applicants with a research and teaching profile relevant to Computational Science and Engineering as it pertains to these two areas. The successful applicant will deliver modules at both the undergraduate and taught MSc level. The successful applicant will also contribute to the growth of the E3 programme across the Faculty. The appointment will be made on the Lecturer Salary Scale (109BN) commensurate with qualifications / experience and in line with Public Sector Pay Policy [€37,960 to €92,187 per annum]
