Slavonic Languages



The Department of Russian and Slavonic Studies will run language and culture courses in:

  • Russian
  • Polish
  • Czech
  • Bulgarian
  • Croatian

These courses will be offered at the Beginners, Lower Intermediate, and Intermediate/Advanced levels.

Time and Place

All courses are offered subject to minimum registration numbers. For online classes students will require adequate internet access and audio/visual equipment (e.g., computer, camera and microphone). Beginners (Russian, Polish, Bulgarian, Croatian): Tuesdays 7.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m., online. Beginners (Czech): Fridays 7.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m., online. Lower Intermediate (all languages): Wednesdays 7.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m., online. Intermediate/Advanced (all languages): Thursdays 7.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m., online.


Each course runs for eleven weeks, twice a year, starting in September and in January.
