Trinity college dublinHI 1100: Doing History [10 ECTS]

Doing History’ introduces students to the sources historians use in reconstructing the past – from the written word in manuscripts, books, and archival records, to works of art, architecture and archaeological artefacts – and looks at the way those sources are used and abused in current debates. The module helps students to become acquainted with some of the great historical resources available in Trinity, and on our doorstep in institutions like the National Museum, National Library, Royal Irish Academy, National Gallery, and National Archives.
