Center for Social Engagement
The Centre for Social Engagement (CSE) in Trinity College Dublin is a cross-campus and cross community research and development facility, operating in association with Trinity Business School and Trinity’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub . Our mission is to create a space that fosters social innovation and social entrepreneurial action; generating opportunities to study impactful engagement in society.
The CSE creates opportunities for individuals and teams across Trinity College and beyond to work towards together to generate impactful engagement in all aspects of their work and research. We have four core activities; research, teaching and incubation in order to advance three agendas:
- to understand what impactful engagement is and how it is evolving
- to foster community-engaged research initiatives to tackle the most demanding social issues of our era
- to deliver social innovation
- to grow social enterprise
Please see https://www.tcd.ie/research/expertise/ for a proposal on how to represent the key researchers in the center.
