Dr Thorsten Busch teaches digital business ethics, responsible innovation, and digital game studies at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland. He holds an MA in political science, economics, and management from the University of Oldenburg, Germany, and a PhD in business ethics from the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland. He was a participant in the Oxford Internet Institute’s Summer Doctoral Programme 2010, a visiting scholar at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society, Harvard University, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Concordia University, Montréal, Canada.

Thorsten’s award-winning research focuses on ethical issues in a wide range of digital contexts, including AI ethics and the governance of hate speech on social media platforms, and it has been presented internationally at more than 50 conferences.
