Dr. Laurent Muzellec teaches executive MBA at TCD and advises senior marketing executives on digital opportunities and social media strategies. He is also launching the new MSc in Digital Marketing Strategy at Trinity Business School which aims to address the current skills gap and give graduates not only the necessary technical skills, but also the ability to think strategically about digital marketing.
He has previously worked in DCU Business School, ESSCA School of management (Paris) and UCD Smurfit Business School. Prior to his academic life, Laurent was a product manager of an Internet Mapping application in Paris, an Internet consultant at Volkswagen in Germany and trade representative at French Embassy Trade Office in New York.
His academic work on digital business model, branding and electronic Word of Mouth has appeared in several international publications including the Journal of Advertising Research, the European Journal of Marketing, the International Journal of Advertising and the Journal of Product and Brand Management. Much of this research has been picked up in the media causing Laurent to be a regular commentator on radio and television.
