He has authored a Professional Manual in Management Accounting and has himself held roles as an Examiner / Moderator / Senior Moderator for a number of the Professional Accountancy Bodies.

James has a reputation for making difficult topics easy to grasp. His ethos is simple: if you understand the basic principles, then applying this to the exam to achieve success is easy. His classes focus on ensuring each student clearly understands to topic they are studying, why they need to know it and most importantly, how they can use it on the day of the exam.

He has taught many prize-winning students including a First in the World and has consistently high pass rates. He is regularly involved in delivering Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events to qualified accountants.
