Biography
Brian is an experienced academic and practitioner with over 30 years’ professional experience in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector, specialising in the areas of IS strategy , IS systems design and development, IS programme management (including the design and implementation of customised billing systems, enterprise IT architectures, network management systems, and intelligent network platforms), enterprise IS sales and business development, and business transformation management.
Brian currently specialises as both academic and consultant practitioner in the field of information systems strategy, implementation and change. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Arts from Trinity College Dublin (1982 / 1992), an MBA from the Open University (1998) and a Ph.D from Trinity College Dublin (2015).
He is an active contributor in the field of Information Systems research and has presented research papers at a number of international academic institutions and conferences. He lectures at Trinity College Dublin in the field of Information Systems and Digital Technology in business.
