Alumni Spotlight - Lucy Müller

Thomas Deckers, MSc in International Management Graduate
Current employment: Junior Account Manager with Diageo, Brussels

"As a culmination of the MSc International Management course, we went to Shanghai for the annual international residency week to apply all the knowledge we acquired during the year on the Chinese emerging market. A very intensive first week had us balancing interesting courses on business in China, insightful company visits and extensive late night socials. The class was divided in two parts: Marketing and Finance. These groups had lectures and company visits that would suit their interests so that everybody would be fully engaged and emerged in their respectively preferred Chinese business topics and companies.

The second week in China was optional and saw many students fly back home or travel all over Asia as this was a perfect opportunity to discover all that China has to offer.  This trip was a unique opportunity that Trinity has provided us and saw the entire class bond into one cohesive group of friends."

Greg Coffey, MSc in International Management Graduate
Current employment: Account Executive with Creative Bstro, Creative Agency

The MSc in Management has proven invaluable to my professional and personal development. As a member of the class of 2012, I was among the first people to take part in this new programme.

I enrolled in the master’s programme with an undergraduate degree in law. I had two years of work experience and a strong desire to understand the world of business.

The broad range of subjects we covered were ideally suited to helping me reach my goals. I gained a more thorough understanding of finance, strategy, organizational management, operations marketing, and more.

Ultimately, this course helped me to better frame my existing skills and experiences through the lens of business and management. This helped me to stand out from the crowd during my search for employment after completing the master’s program. It’s also helped me to distinguish myself and excel in my current role at work.

Philippus von Neree, MSc in International Management
Current employment: Head Of Operations at Semasio GmbH, Hamburg

"I chose Trinity Business School's MSc International Management programme based on my interest in the challenges of an increasingly globalised world. It added a great variety of managerial expertise to my economical knowledge that I accumulated in my undergraduate studies. Furthermore, the unique atmosphere of cultural diversity within the class combined with a lecture in Shanghai expanded my awareness of the challenges to internationally operating corporations by a huge degree.

Overall, I am very happy to realise that the course supported me with the exact skillset needed to perform well in my role that followed at BearingPoint, where I planned and drove forward large post-merger-integration projects as a management consultant."

Shannon Cantwell, MSc in International Management Graduate
Current employment: Legislative Aide at United States Senate

“One of the things I really liked about MSc International Management was its personal and professional development programme which really allowed a hands-on approach to networking and interview skills – the things you really need to get your first high-level job.”
