"I was concerned that I would not be able to manage the demands of the course around my existing work and life commitments. However the Trinity Part-Time MBA exceeded my expectations in all these regards. The standout for me has been the quality and real-world experience of many of the lecturers, who are masters of their material, and manage to balance the subject matter with real world executive concerns in a highly pragmatic and effective way. The programme is a powerful combination of foundational learning and the latest academic and business thinking, plus the course's timetable is accommodating and fits well with my work schedule.
Both the breadth and the depth of the MBA, has meant a highly challenging and engaging experience. I would highly recommend the Trinity MBA to any executive looking to build on their existing experience and develop a more critical and holistic business perspective."
April Durrett, Current Part-Time MBA Student
Current employment: Design Director at Fjord
"I'm mid-way through my first year in the part-time MBA programme at Trinity Business School. I've been finding a huge amount of immediate relevant value, being full-time employed and a part-time student. I can test and experiment with new theories and ideas in real-time, coming back the next week with new debates and challenges. Not only is this helping me to retain concepts and find relevance in my real life, it's allowing me to build on it, challenge it, and also begin to craft my own point of view. It's challenging, and my days are full, but I personally wouldn't want to learn any other way.
I've been especially engaged with Amanda Shantz's Strategic Human Resource Management class. The energy and up-to-the-minute insights and case studies she brings to her lectures really show that Trinity is at the forefront of issues and concepts confronting businesses today. My colleagues and I are literally sitting at the edges of our seats trying to get our thoughts in on the discussion because these topics personally matter and are relevant to us and our businesses."
Keith Lyons, Executive Executive MBA Graduate

"The Trinity MBA is an excellent source of professional and personal development. Anyone seeking to develop a broader perspective and understanding of business, markets and organisations are well catered for. The team based approach to learning and development with highly experienced individuals from many different backgrounds helped me understand more about the opportunities in other aspects of the broader business spectrum that I sought exposure to.Throughout the programme you are constantly challenged with real world problems and you work through the problems developing and honing your skills along the way. The direct engagement with industry throughout the programme presented significant learning and development opportunities in unfamiliar areas."
Eugenée Mulhern, Full-Time MBA Graduate
Current employment: Senior Advisor, A&L Goodbody
"The Trinity MBA has been both an important milestone and a signpost to a new direction. Following a career in corporate finance at Ireland's largest stockbroking and financial advisory firm, I entered the MBA with the objective of broadening, deepening and refreshing knowledge across a number of disciplines. I exited it with a renewed enthusiasm for learning, access to new skills to navigate many professional and social environments and the confidence and acumen that comes from survival of a challenging and stimulating experience in the company of bright colleagues and thought-provoking lecturers.
I have since changed role, joining one of Irelands leading law firms as a senior adviser in the corporate team and have ample opportunity to seek to apply the numerous learnings from the MBA. To paraphrase Morgan Scott Peck, this career path is a road less travelled and it is the MBA that has, and I hope, continues to make, all the difference."
Erin Malone, Executive MBA Graduate

"I was in I.T. for the last 20 years and wanted to progress to Managing Director level. As the company is global, one of the key requirements was to have an MBA. The programme has been very challenging with a huge learning curve in many new subjects. The course content is current and very relative to international business. The week of Entrepreneurial Finance with Professor Bill Cockram from UCLA was an amazing experience. I learnt so much from a man with the track record of success."

"The Trinity MBA has transformed my opinion about what a programme can teach me. It is a rare occurrence that a programme not only teaches the course well but also teaches what every business needs the most - relationship building and time management. One of the most interesting things about the course is the opportunity to learn about various cultures and the related perceptions from the 'omnium gatherum’ in the class. It widens your horizon to human thinking and helps you encapsulate all the possible conditions in decision making. I would recommend Trinity Business School to everyone to come for a journey to experience the beauty of the campus, the warmth of the Irish culture and to shape your life for a better you."

The programme is designed and administered so seamlessly that I not only felt ‘the warm welcome’, but my faculty and peers became a support system throughout my stay as well as a network for life. So much so, that I have decided to stay on in Ireland post the MBA to gain some international work experience."

The MBA does not give you a list of solutions to apply to well-known problems. The MBA provides a framework within which you can develop your thinking on any key business challenge with a view to identifying the right solution. The MBA helps shifts thinking from the tactical to the strategic which is critical for anyone looking to join the C-suite."

It gave me the opportunity to step back and reflect on what I do, how well I do it and where I can improve together with the toolkit to progress. It has given me a much greater sense of appreciation for what it is to become strategically focused. But ultimately, it was the opportunity to apply my existing skillset coupled with those skills learned on the MBA in my own workplace that has proved most rewarding."

The MBA program's focus on problem solving using real life scenarios was the perfect grounding for working in any fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
Learning from Trinity's formidable faculty in a beautiful campus right at the heart of Dublin made the whole experience unforgettable. Above all else, for me the friendships I formed with my classmates are priceless and have already paid great dividends. The MBA experience has definitely exceeded my expectations and in my opinion the Trinity MBA is not just a step in the right direction but a leap towards your professional goals."
Martina Donohue, Full-Time MBA Graduate

"When I commenced the programme, I gave myself one year to challenge my thinking, change my outlook and choose my next step. This could not have been achieved without the remarkable opportunities and strategic tools afforded to me by the Trinity MBA. We received professional coaching which refined our leadership and management skills, engaged with world-class academic lectures with strong credible industry links, participated in an effective team-based model approach to project work and had the chance to work with exceptionally high-caliber classmates from diverse Industry sectors and nationalities.
In my opinion to operate in a progressive business environment you need to be equipped with solid leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills, all with a global perspective. In my experience during the Trinity MBA, these qualities were not only strengthened through the numerous case studies, presentations and reading materials, but ultimately having the opportunity to work alongside key national and international companies with a substantial global reach. The academic expectation was one thing, but the trinity alumni community has also proven to be a valuable investment to be part of when enhancing international business links.
The Trinity MBA has truly been one of the most profound experiences of my life to date."

"The Trinity MBA has been as fantastic experience. I found the quality of the academic staff to be superb and that the programme is very well designed to combine academic teaching with hands-on learning experiences. This combination really worked and I feel that I have developed in terms of management knowledge and skills and in personal competencies such as self-awareness, presentations, teamwork, leadership and negotiation. The relatively small school and class size made it an intimate and enjoyable time with friendships formed with classmates and faculty alike."
