Technology Futures in the Accounting and Finance Sectors

This programme is a 2 day executive programme for ACCA members which will be delivered on the 7th and 8th November 2019. The programme covers the emergence of new and dynamic technologies and looks at their implications in the management and operations of finance and accounting firms.
The programme is participative, engaged and practice orientated with delivery over three core modules:
- Emerging Technologies - Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Where to Next?
- Application of Emerging Technologies in Accounting and Financial Services Firms
- Human Dimensions - The Future of Work
The programme which provides 22.5 hours of verifiable CPD for ACCA members is delivered by a specialist team from both academia and industry. Issues around industry trends, implementation, best practice, efficacy measurement and ethical issues are all covered by the programme. In addition, talent development and HR management consequences of the rise of these technologies are also explored.
Case studies from the finance and technology sectors will be presented by practitioners involved in the implementation of robotics and A.I. followed by Q & A panels.
